Welcome
to FADONA’s Call for Presentations
Convention 2012!
FADONA invites you to submit educational
program proposals for FADONA’s 2012 Convention “Carrying the Torch of Leadership
2012,” April 18-21, 2012 in Orlando, FL. Submissions should be based on the
areas of interest to nurse administrators with issues related to long-term care.
In addition, the average session is 1.0- to 2.0-hours in length.
Quality educational programs are the
pinnacle of our annual convention. Attendees expect clinical topics to be strong
evidence-based lectures with cited references and administrative topics to be
relevant to their setting and focused on current best care practices.
Presentations that incorporate attendee networking, case-discussion (Q&A), small
groups, and take home tools such as handouts, key points, guides or quick tips
are highly encouraged. This will result in the highest possible learning
experience for our attendees. All our sessions will be accredited for continuing
education credit for Florida licensed nurses and nursing home administrators.
Submission Site Deadline: January
15, 2012
If your proposal is selected, you will be
notified via e-mail by
February 28, 2012.
We appreciate the interest you have shown
in this very worthwhile gathering of nurse administrators and nursing home
administrators, and we take great pride in providing the highest quality,
affordable continuing education programming to our attendees. We look forward to
reviewing your proposal.
